Founded by Elise Wilcox, an independently licensed Physician Assistant with more than 23 years of experience in aesthetic medicine, Alchemy was created with one unwavering philosophy: patients come before profit. After decades of performing advanced injectable and laser treatments—and training hundreds of aesthetic providers across the country—it became clear that exceptional outcomes happen when medical decisions are guided by what is truly best for the patient, not by corporate metrics or private equity priorities.

Elise started her career in aesthetic medicine over 23 years ago at one of the most esteemed cosmetic dermatology and laser centers in the country. While there, she gained valuable experience in cosmetic injections and laser therapy. Through her decades of experience, knowledge of anatomy, and artful eye, Elise has mastered her craft of treating aging skin, blending proprietary modalities to create beautiful, natural, and transformative results.
Furthering her expertise through teaching and education, Elise has been a National Injector Trainer for an elite aesthetics company for over 16 years. Her skills as an injector, pleasant personality, and love for teaching others have earned her a well-known and respected reputation as one of Utah’s top injectors.
Continuing education is an ongoing pursuit for Elise, and she loves advancing her craft and fine-tuning her skill set in the ever-changing world of aesthetics and laser medicine.
Originally from Northern California, Elise earned her Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology and chemistry at Brigham Young University. She then spent 10 years working at Primary Children’s Medical Center as a clinical laboratory scientist. In 2003, Elise graduated from the University of Utah Physician Assistant Program with her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies, and was honored to receive the Jaquelyn Marie Erbin Leadership Award for her class.
When she’s not making Alchemy a pleasant place for patients and fellow employees, Elise enjoys spending time with her husband and four children. She loves fitnessing, country line dancing, hiking, reading, and learning about flowers and plants.
With years of experience in family medicine, Julieanne brings a seasoned, medically grounded approach to Alchemy's medical weight loss program. In addition to her role at Alchemy, she practices family medicine three days a week, where she regularly helps patients navigate medical weight loss. Her broad clinical experience allows her to consider the whole patient - from health history and medications to lifestyle and individual goals. At Alchemy, she provides personalized treatment plans, thoughtful medication management, and ongoing support to help patients achieve healthy, sustainable results. Outside of work, Julieanne loves to spend time with her husband, two baby girls, and her golden retriever, Doug.
Alison Larsen is our beloved Master Medical Esthetician here at Alchemy. She completed her schooling at Acaydia Spa and School of Aesthetics. Her passion for skin health and self-care is what drives her to be a warm, compassionate, and skilled aesthetician. She strives to provide services that her clients will enjoy during their experience at Alchemy and that leave them with noticeable improvements afterward. It is her mission to ignite inner confidence from the skin transformations that her treatments provide.
Her specialty treatments include BBL, microneedling, Hydrafacials, facials, and chemical peels. When she isn’t in the clinic, she enjoys reading, hot yoga, and being outdoors with her husband.
Afton has been a medical assistant in aesthetic medicine for over 22 years. She started her career at a prominent dermatology clinic where she was lead assistant for several of the providers. Afton is well-versed in skin care, injectables, and laser treatments. She prioritizes the comfort and care of our patients from the moment they walk in the door until they’re fully satisfied with their results. When not working, Afton enjoys being a mom to her daughter, Liv, camping, paddle-boarding, and spending time with her family, friends, and her dogs, Pickle and Vinny.
Emma has a passion for the aesthetics industry and in helping others feel confident and comfortable in their own skin. Working in medical aesthetics has allowed her to develop a love for the combination of healthcare, beauty, and personalized patient care. She enjoys building genuine connections with patients and being part of their journey toward feeling and looking their best. Emma is currently pursuing her nursing degree with a desire to specialize in women’s health, providing compassionate care and support to women throughout every stage of life.
Outside of work and school, Emma enjoys staying active, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying the outdoors.
